    My wife and I have also been having issues. The trend is comforting to see but frustrating all the same.

    Also adding to this as well, it seems this is happening to everyone in Southern California with the Crystal data center

    Platform: Windows
    ISP: Cox Communications
    Wired Connection
    Region: San Diego, California
    Separate Modem and Router
    Firewall: Windows Defender
    Issue is happening with all characters.

    It has been an absolute nightmare trying to play FF14 for the past few days, which is really disappointing considering the tomestone event is currently happening. I'm hoping that the event can be extended because of the nights I've missed grinding out rewards because of the unplayability

    Another Southern Californian here with absolutely terrible lag. Sometimes 10-20 second lag times, making the game unplayable for me.

    Platform? (Steam/Windows/PS4/PS5/Mac etc.) Mac Client
    Have you tried using a wired connection? Yes, my computer is using an ethernet cable to hook up directly to the internet (no wifi).

    Are you using a Firewall/Anti-virus solution? If so, which ones? Nothing beyond what my MacBook came preinstalled with

    I happened to be playing with a friend at the time and they were able to capture footage from their end what was happening to my character while the lag was so bad (KO character, upper right hand of screen).     Worst Issues are happening on main server of Excalibur but Leviathan is unstable too.

    I primarily play on Leviathan and it seems to be getting actively worse, not better. Went from rubber banding to full disconnects several times a day. Only on FFXIV.

    Any update from SE on this? It appears there is some communication issues with Cox in Southern CA and FFXIV servers. No other applications on my end have this issue and can play other games/stream other stuff fine.
