Unable to Complete "Best Friends Forever" Quest

Area and coordinates: Azys Lla (X:24.5 Y:8.9)
Steps:
1. Completed all the trials neccesary to be able to upgrade Minos to Minos Lux
2. Took Archaic Enchanted Ink out of saddlebags, have different axe equipped
3. Hand items over to Ardashir and skip cutscene previously watched to complete quest
4. See "Minos Lux Obtained" in chat box, double check armory chest, and have "Minos" in there.
5. Attempt again, get same result.
6. Attempt third time, this time going through cutscene, and still have Minos and not Minos Lux.

Trying to complete the remaining level 60 relics that I have, and can't proceed until I finish this quest.

The stat squish changed the stats on our gear and because the stats on a weapon are custom, it probably wants you to go and reassign them. Try going to Idyllshire, where you assigned them originally.
