Request: A setting to disable the start-screen cinematic from playing

Okay so hear me out on this. When you AFK long enough you get kicked out, but not back to character select, you get kicked back to the start screen. Then the cinematic plays on loop over and over until you do something about it.

Yes, I know you can open Configuration, and yes I know you can just go to character select and that's that.

However the problem is that a lot of us end up afk without knowing its going to happen. We get called away to deal with things and don't know if it'll be a 5 minute thing or an hour thing. If we just logged out every time we might be gone only for a few minutes, we spend more time re-logging into the game and sitting in the queue, which is silly.

So there should be an option to disable the cinematic from auto-playing. Either that or boot us to character select when we AFK too long instead of Start. For those of us who just end up gone randomly.

FFXI has the option to send you back to the main screen or the character selection when you log off or get afk kicked. I want that option for FFXIV, since I find myself wanting to log into another character more often than I want to switch data center (which is the main reason to go to the main screen).

There are solutions to this; SWIM has this issue resolved.

Considering that this leads to throwing ARR players massive spoilers in the face by playing the Endwalker trailer I very much support this. (Also, it is slightly annoying even if you are past Shadowbringers, but while area spoilers are not such a big thing, who is or who isn't alive in this trailer already is a spoiler for multiple other occasions before that.)
