Dyes are taking 50 slots in my chocobo saddle bag

Hello. After getting rid of gathering HQ items to reduce inventory bloat, could you design a system where we can store dyes. It's common to have many different dyes on hand when you are experimenting with glamour system and it's inconvenient to have them all on your retainer.

Probly not the answer you would like to hear, but my advice would be to ditch almost all of them. The special ones on the far-right tab are annoying to acquire, so yeah you can keep any of those you dont find ugly. Every other dye in the game is either sold by a vendor or crafted as a low level recipe. You can still experiment with the glam system, still use the "dye preview" option to mix and match, then when its time to apply dye you just pick up what you need.

As someone who plays around with their glamour almost daily and decorates their home every once in a while, I agree with the OP.
I would much rather have my dyes accessible when doing these things like in the inn or at my house then having to constantly go back and forth between the MB or vendors in other locations.

SE has already stated they do not wish to add more specialized inventory to the game that accommodates only a single type of item when that inventory space could be used for general purposes.

Ultimately it's up to you to decide what you want to store. If dyes are the most important to you, then you'll need to sacrifice storing other items to make space for them.

Personally I'll stick to using Preview then buying/crafting the dye I want once I make my decision (I do store the more expensive general purpose dyes I know I'll use). I usually buy a few extra to make sure I have enough then sell off the leftovers on the MB once I'm done.

A hoarders life, you don't know when will you need that slightly gray dye. But yeah, I usually do furnishing in our fc house so that was the main reason for me to carry that many of them. Thanks for response.

Hoarding isn't something to be proud of. You're actually destroying your quality of life instead of improving it, not to mention losing money from all those items you hold onto thinking you might use them one day but rarely do.

Also, that slightly grey dye (along with 32 others) is on the Junkmonger that you hopefully already have placed in your FC house so there's no need to store it in inventory at all. It's already conveniently there on demand.

For common dyes there is a storage system already.

I think it's possible to make dyes into special storage without making it a single purpose invintory.

All you do is permently sacrifice the dyes into it, so they can never be taken out, and now it's storing counts (0-63) of each dye, and that'll take up less storage then even one item.
