Lali-ho, Tech-Warriors of Light! I'm encountering an issue just in the last week that I have been unable to find a resolution for. I play Endwalker on Windows 10 with a PS4 controller via bluetooth (and have played this way for 5 years).

The problem: In the last few days the controller input has begun to stutter heavily. I can be holding the thumbstick for camera or movement, and the input will register for a moment, go dead for several moments, and repeat indefinitely. The game is currently unplayable.

Some details: I do not play the game on Steam, or have steam running while I play, ever; I do not own the steam version of XIV. The PS4 controller is stock, not off-brand, and the bluetooth adapter is an inexpesive dongle that shows up in devices as "Mystic Light" and "SyncMaster". My PC is Windows 10 Home edition, my peripherals are all wired, and all drivers are updated as of 3/24/2022.

What I've tried already: I have tried a full system reboot, tested the controller on the PS4 to ensure there are no physcial problems, tried a different controller, updated all software drivers, run a full virus scan, uninstalled and re-installed the bluetooth adapter and re-paired the PS4 controller, and tested that the controller works with no issues on multiple Steam games. The only problem is with Final Fantasy XIV.

...help?
