    Macro question

    I cant figure out if this is possible with the in game macro function. I'm trying the merge Chaos Thrust and Wheeling Thrust into one button. The following works:

    /macroicon "Wheeling Thrust"
    /ac "Wheeling Thrust" <t>
    /ac "Chaos Thrust" <t>

    My question is; Is there a way for the marcoicon to default to Chaos Thrust and change to Wheeling Thrust only when usable?

    Nope, icons are static for macros.

    Not the news I wanted, but thanks none the less.
    They really should add this to the macro functionality. I'm sure many would make use of it to reduce button bloat.

    short answer: no, you can't

    long(er) answr: yes and no. you can't do it officially or using macros -- but you can do it using third party plugins. they're technically against the ToS, so use them at your own risk. they do however provide lots of useful stuff, including exactly what you're asking for

    I mean, that's unfortunate, but the stark reality for you should be that games are built with the average control schemes in mind. Building systems around the myriad of disabilities would be nearly impossible. Macros serve a niche purpose and that will never change for a variety of reasons.

    Well, I think that's pretty shortsighted, considering that they are courting people who play single player games. I think a lot of them are going to look at how many skills there are and nope out like I did before I discovered macros.

    But, this is not the thread for such a debate. I am thankful for the macro system, and I just want it to be better so that it is a truly viable alternative.
