Tips(monetary) for Tanks

To those of you new to this game. Tipping a tank at the end of a duty finder run IS NOT something that you do. DO NOT TIP YOUR TANK if they ask for it. We already get a bonus for queuing up as such. Don't be suckered into paying a tank for a run. Especially if they ask/demand it.

What the actual heck? Aye agreed! Do not tip your tank, I play tank because it is fun and it is like every other job you need dps and healers as much as a tank if someone is asking for a gil tip please do not fall for it. Unless they are doing more like running you through all the stuff but even still asking for a tip is just blah. If you happen to give me a tip for assisting I would not fight you on it, but I would most likely also be gearing you up the best I could rerunning the dungeons undersized for dungeon loots or crafting it for you. Oh and also being on call to go through msq.

But the tipping would be up to you, and I am talking about sprout tipping like 69 gil or 1337 or 666 those are the only tips I would except >.> I have plenty of gil it would only be if it made the person feel better. Heck even the junk in your inventory you don't want I have seen happen before. This wasn't because of tanking but I gave a sprout a minion and they gave me meats and leathers and didn't type anything except for 'take it'.

I remember someone crafting me 115 gear when I first started playing and I did wish to give them gil I think I may have snuck some into the trade. Around finishing ARR you might get lucky and have almost 100,000 gil I want to say. I was able to sneak in I think 10,000 gil to them and hoped it made up for the trouble. Now that I am into crafting I kind of feel silly it probably took them two pumps to finish each piece of the rainbow gear >.< Would tip again though.

The only tip a tank should get (childish snicker) is a commendation...if they've earned it.

I could definitely see this being a thing. People have advertised for weirder things on party finder. Though one of these days I am going to join one party that is up almost all of the time the description 'dork aura does absolutely nothing'. Oh and there was one I have seen of someone giving a fact about sea life, they have a new one everytime I see their party finder up.

Believe it or not, stuff like this has happened. I knew Tanks and Healers that tried to sell queues during Stormblood, because they figured the DF would be flooded with needy DPS players.
