We need more options at the barber

Why does FFXIV have such insane restrictions on character customisation, post-character creation ? The argument about the barber not being able to change your face or skin color is irrelevant because you can already change your eyebrow shape and add or remove scars. We should absolutely be able to change everything except race and gender without using a fantasia.

None of the other top MMORPGS are as limited as FFXIV. That one other game had an update to the barber shop where they let you change everything (even your gender) at the barber shop. Only race costs real money. If they can do it, Square can as well.

It's time we get more freedom when it comes to customisation.

This is something I think WoW actually does better than FFXIV, it lets just recustomize your character so much more.
I was quite surprised when they added gender change too I mean that's money they're losing out on very uh, strange for ActiBlizz lol.
But I do think that you should be able to customize your character however you want at the Barber and Fantasia should be a race change.
I guess they could keep the gender locked too but you should at least be able to change the rest.

I assume fanta being a thing is the sole reason for the aesthetician being so limited.

Did ya know, Hrothgar had to change their face to get different hair. Aka they needed a fanta to change hair... Something like that.

I mean, not judging, we all have inner angst children that want really bad to become sith lords or be named "everdarkness mcblood" or whatever, but I don't see how one could be that guy and call out others on identity crisis when they just want to see a new face once in a while after playing this game for months or years with the same characters. Some people do get bored of one look in a world where they can look pretty much any way they want.

Maybe you were being ironic and I missed that, in that case, apologies, but... wut.
