Need motivation/inspiration to play. What do you like about the game?

I know the game is fantastic, but for some reason I'm not logging in and my sub that I paid good money for is wasting away.

I need some help to change my mindset so I can appreciate the game again.

Can you tell me why you like the game, or what you find fun in the game? Maybe your love for the game will be contagious and I'll be able to love it too.

• Doing daily roulettes, especially doing big pulls as a tank, relieves stress in my life.
• Experiencing all of the classes (usually through leveling them up).
• Experiencing all of the stories, side quests, beast tribes and class quests.
• Hunting and spawning S ranks.
• Farming in places like eureka or bozja.
• Collecting mounts (without buying them or unsyncing). Allows me to experience different things in the game.
• Collecting triple triad cards, which does the same thing collecting mounts does.
• Doing extreme and savage (including old ones synced when someone wants help).
• Helping new players, usually by answering questions in the novice network.

So one thing that I really like about FF14 over other MMOs or "sort of" MMO-like games - it still has a world.

A world with a time of day, with changing weather, and with a lot of effort put into the audio ambiences. That you can go out, roam, and experience. This might feel like something that's easy to take for granted, but if you venture out there - you'll find tons of games are just instances + lobbies only. Or perhaps a town where you can roam around, which serves are a slightly more involved lobby.

Sometimes I just like to wander around or chill in a few favorite spots. Because I can, and in most other live service games you either can't or it comes with large caveats. And, of course, you can fish or craft or do some other little activities out there too. (And, I also like the Nymian Leap of Faith because it gives a similar sense, even if it is an instance).

Story,world and the community. Love the nights servers go down for maint. People just lose it in comical ways Monday NN here on Lamia was going off about how Yoshi was going to appear and dc everyone. Lol

1. Working on a cool glam and the moment the outfit is complete and I'm like, heck yeah that's a cool glam.

2. Talking to or running content with friends.

3. When I know my job well enough to were I can save a group wide wipe, aka PLD or SB/HW War finishing the boss off from 20 precent when everyone but me is dead in a 4 man dungeon, plus RDM saving the day in 8 man or 24 man content buy rez'n all my dead teammates.

I like trying out new things and creating little challenges for myself. Like no dungeon repeats/roullete spamming for leveling.
