Battle music

I have noticed that in Endwalker zones I no longer get it's battle music, it has reverted back to the old zone fate music. Anyone else have this issue?

Which zones and which circumstances? I'm pretty sure FATEs have always played the same music. Some zones keep playing field music during battle, and one section of a zone uses the FF4 battle theme instead of the standard battle music.

Hmm, when you say it's replaced with 'generic FATE music', you wouldn't happen to specifically be in Labyrinthos in the point of the story around level 89/90 right? That's working as intended - the zone music and battle theme there is replaced by a version of the regular FATE music Torn From the Heavens called on the OST album 'From Below'.

This is unfortunately SE has stated is intentional, and yes, it's annoying (there's been lots of complaints about it), but it's working as intended according to SE so there is nothing that can really be done I'm sorry to say. You'll be pleased to know however that it disappears after finishing EW's storyline and returns to the regular Labyrinthos day and night themes and the battle theme returns too (it's also only in this area, no other zone is affected by this).
