Isn't it ironic that they have to declare indirectly or directly that they dont.

Its always a show/cry for attention . No matter how much they deny it , their subconscious is stronger than they are and they are slaves to it . Almost always they have some form of disorder , its just a shame they refuse to get help and always attempt to make others experiences miserable because their is.

From what I've been reading, the tsunami warning has been cancelled, power's gradually being restored, they're not reporting any problems at the nuclear plant, and so far "only" 4 deaths confirmed (in contrast to the 2011 quake/tsunami that reached nearly 20,000 deaths). Obviously that could change as more information becomes available, but so far this kind of seems like good news..?
