That would be my thread.

There’s a caveat: you need an install which was working before the upgrade to 12.3.

It fails on new installs with a null pointer access and I haven’t found a workaround to get the updater to run independently. (It says to run via the launcher, which is what crashes)

The only sure fire way to fix is using a third party launcher, which is BONKERS.

The irony being that the "fix" doesn't even fix what's actually broken, it's to use an entirely different program altogether!
