I know the semantics of job skips have changed over time, although I'm not aware of the specifics since I'm only a few months into playing the game. However, when you get a job skip now, it will complete all your level 1 - 80 quests and yet you cannot go to a Calamity Salvager to buy the coffers you would have received during those quests.

For example, I bought a Dragoon skip, but it's impossible(?) for me to get the Wyrm's set which is a shame because I didn't realise that before purchasing the skip and I'd love to be able to get it for a glamour. Essentially, when I go to a Calamity Salvager, the Job Quest Rewards only display gear that I've unlocked with gameplay and therefore already have.

All I'd like is for them to have gear that you 'unlock' through job skips, too.

Generally artifact coffers are locked behind completing the job quests and getting the achievement puts them in the calamity salvager, however the wyrms attire coffer as well as the other level 50 ilvl 90 artifact gear was in fact tome gear initially. In order to get it since you don’t have the coffer you will have to trade “Antique” items to an NPC in Mor Dhona named Kakalan. The “Antique” items can be looted from boss coffers in the level 50 dungeons Snowcloak, Sastasha (Hard) and The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard).

There's always some way of reacquiring all the job gear sets. The salvager only sells things that come directly from quests with no option to buy it elsewhere.

You can get every single job set again. Quick rundown:

Standard lvl 50 set can be bought from the calamity salvager in any of the 3 starter cities. The higher ilvl version (that's never dyable) can be gotten by trading in tokens received from certain lvl 50 dungeons.

Lvl 60 gear can be traded for at the Forgotten Knight in Ishgard for centurio seals. A bit of a pain, but they are at least really cheap so a few B ranks should get you what you need IIRC

LVL 70 gear is also obtained from calamity salvagers Lvl 80 gear is received from an NPC in the final shadowbringers area
