I love New Game+

Admittedly I skipped quite a bit of story (as I did a lot of it already on Playstation) as I wanted to get the Aether Currents and Aether teleport crystals on my PC character as well as unlock Poetics Vendor and Beast Tribes/Collection Givers ASAP... So it's nice, after doing all the side stuff, to return back and just enjoy the story straight away at my own pace and with fast travel time while finishing up Beast Tribes I missed. Just have the Shadowbringers ones to finish... Should be done in a a week or so.

I'm thinking of getting my brother back into FF14 by buying him the level skip and having him just New Game+ the old story stuff as the job he wants to be before Endwalker. He quit around Stormblood time and cannot figure out his old account info so this could get him back as he didn't have anything bad to say about FF14. Just had IRL stuff that got in the way in the past few years.

$25 for the MSQ skip to Endwalker is a good price for the benefit of getting your brother "up there" with you. I paid $20 just to skip SB (had already done ARR and HW on my alt) and I still consider it a fair trade. I don't know about the level skip as I haven't used one, but even if he gets a few hours of fun out of it the cost will still be less than a dinner for two at a mid-level restaurant.
