If all else fails, we can go back to FFXI right? XD

If all else fails, we can go back to FFXI right? XD

With how long Versus is taking I hope there going to make it one hell of a game
I don't mean to devalue the OP but I don't know the point of speculating on this. The game will either succeed or fail and we, as a community, will have very little to do with it.
I hope they deliver. I also hope we get a glimpse of real battle system improvements that look cool enough to win over new players.
You know people have been saying "FF is done" since, like, Spirits Within, right?
7UP!
They said it after VII since "no game will ever compete", then said it with FFX...then FFX-2 (which still did very very well despite the denial), then FFXI (no one will play an online FF game, you'll kill the series!) then FFXII (it plays like FFXI but offline!)
I think much like the world, FF ended at least 20 times in the past 10 years.
My main gripe about the system is they introduced it while we were limited with class selection since jobs pulls from your base/sub class to unlock it, and given that BLM used THM and PUG (rather than cnj) it pretty much stripped away the only other mage skillset available it could use.
Though it was already know there will be a new DoM for 2.0 (whether at beta, launch or after is still TBD) so we know for sure there will at least be a 3rd DoM coming in the near future.

And if it's Red Mage, how will it be any different from what Cjn/Whm. It can enfeeble, it can heal, and damage deal?
Red Mage just lost it's uniqueness from a another class/job, and with the current enfeeble system already makes thing red mage is known for useless as all hell.
Yet no one sees this coming. And I'll laugh when all thread start about it.
I... what?
How do you know what happens on Balmung? lol

I'll let you know -my opinion- on 2.0 when it comes out.
Derp.
