Discrepency Between Male/Female Clothing/Emotes in Regards to Performance

I think that the pursuit of 'more options' should match the actual demand. At the end of the day the majority of people playing male characters seemingly want masculine looking designs and the majority of people playing female characters seem to desire feminine designs.

It would be really nice if they let you just use the animations of a different race/gender combo's emotes with a toggle or something, and I don't think it would necessarily even be that resource intensive.

I personally find the female Au Ra emotes fitting for how I view my character, though I know there are plenty who'd love the option for the more masculine emotes used by female Highlanders or Roegadyn.

i co-sign this request. more options for people to express their character how they want are always good imo, and i'm a dude who plays a male character but would also like more feminine emote/clothing options (why oh why can a guy barely get a decent pair of shorts that don't reach the knees around here. or one of those cute nier raid dresses. or even the ishgardian thighboots which male npcs are already allowed to wear)

Was I too aggressive? Was I too blatant in my distaste? Did I not comfort you enough that it's still okay to hyper-sexualize women, I just don't want to do it myself? Seems like the hill of "more options for everyone" is a weird one to consider turning away from just because a woman dares to point out that females are sexualized as if it's an inherent trait of the sex.

Maybe you didn't really care in the first place about having more options. Maybe you just seethe at the idea of a woman having a different opinion than yours. Idk. But I do know that you thought I would care enough about your opinion to consider changing mine at the threat of losing your support. Unfortunately for you, the opinion of someone who would change their stance on a dime is worth just as much.

Having both a male main and a female alt I must say the only thing that irks me is the skirt.
