Keepers of the Mists «Mist» may be the place for you! All players are welcome, regardless of experience or playtime. Our members typically skew older (out of college, “adulting”), but we care much more about maturity and mentality.

Our Philosophy

As a friendly, easygoing FC with a focus on being inclusive and supportive, we strive for a close-knit and personal atmosphere where our members aren’t just names, and random discussions on whatever topics—from game lore to hobbies, from raid strategies to food recipes—are always encouraged. We aim to cultivate a thoughtful and understanding community where players can relax, unwind, and be themselves. Life can be stressful enough; no need for the game to add to it as well!

About Us

«Mist» was founded a little while ago, when a group of us split off from a larger Free Company. Unable to find another with the sense of community we were looking for, we decided to establish our own.

We have players working on everything from clearing end-game content to perfecting glams and achievement hunting; we recognize that everyone has their own in-game goals and real life responsibilities, and we aim to help wherever we can. Most of us have completed Endwalker, but not necessarily all the side content and we are always happy to share in the joy of discovery as newer players progress through the story.

Activity is a little sproadic right now with the content lull and summer activities; otherwise, we're typically active in the evenings, with a handful working from home (or with less traditional schedules) sometimes afk'ing in-game during the day for questions and casual chatter.

Accommodations

Our large FC house (currently under decoration) overlooks the Empyreum's hot springs, and our chocobo stables are attended to throughout the day.

Minions, mounts, orchestrion rolls, and many more are free for the taking in the FC chest, including an abundance of color-changing fruits and leveling items for your feathered friend. We also supply Fashion Report item sets (free 60k+ MGP weekly!) when possible, and our gathering and crafting-inclined members are eager to help you with gear and items!

Reduced teleportation costs and increased battle exp are up 24/7, except for Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays) when we have increased MGP. Other FC buffs are available for events or upon request.

Events & Activities

FC activities range from member-scheduled content to impromptu outings and ad hoc requests. Members are happy to accompany others (or to have company) for content and farming, all while being cognizant of others' time. We revel in both old and new content, as well as anything from farming to progression for harder fights to daily roulettes.

Currently, Wednesday nights are designated FC nights, which have recently included SB mount farms, BLU spell acquisition, FATE farming, potd, and SB Savage Mount runs. We try to take preferences into account and pick things that everyone present can participate in.

For the larger events, we’ll typically poll interest beforehand; we’ll also host activities that members would like but prefer not to coordinate themselves. Every so often, we’ll have glam challenges, venue visits, and other more social activities, too.

We do have a Discord server, but participation is not required; we mainly use it for coordination, resources, and out-of-game chatter.
