PC NON STEAM CONTROLLER ISSUES GAME NOT RECOGNIZING CONTROLLER

okay so ive been playing on pc for about a year now and ever since endwalker has come out ive noticed a issue with final fantasy and recognizing controllers

i use several controllers and i only use controllers to play games

this is the windows version not steam version

what happens is it sees the controller and its fine but at random intervals it will say controller not detected and then after a few minutes it sees my controller and im fine but this impacts gameplay and makes it hard to actually play the game
i have submitted bug reports in game and nothing has changed

    i have used the following
ps4 controller pluged in via usb
xbox one controller pluged in usb, bluetooth, and using the windows adapter for xbox
    steel series duo pro
    generic usb controllers

and this happens with every controller

im not sure whats going on but this is clearly a issue where people are reporting this on several forums including steam

i have 3 computers that i play the game on and all computers will do the same thing ONLY with final fantasy where it sees the controller but then randomly decides the controller isnt detectable anymore

this has only been a issue since endwalker patch was released
on shadowbringer it worked great and never had a issue

i have tried removing all controllers from bluetooth settings and device manager and only having 1 controller pluged in
    issue still persists
ive tried fresh game installs even tried reinstalling windows 100%
ive tried different usb ports for controllers

at this point nothing i do will fix this issue and this game is now 100% unplayable for me as i cannot use keyboard and mouse and heavily rely on controller gameplay

this issue needs to be resolved and figured out as it impacts several players

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We advise to please perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' Tab, then Disable everything to see if this may resolve the issue.

Please reply back with the following information so we may further troubleshoot the issue:

    Any error message(s) received?
Have you attempted to use a 1st party Xbox 360 controller?
Are you using a bluetooth dongle via USB 2.0 or 3.0 or on built into the motherboard with a bluetooth card?
Are you using multiple controllers when playing FFXIV?

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!

hey :d yes ive tried that theres no error messegs but when i go into settings in ffxiv and to controller it says no device detected and after a few min it will see the controller again

as stated in my original post
ive tried a XBOX one controller both wired, bluetooth and using the xbox wireless adapter for windows
i have tried using other controllers via usb and bluetooth

the bluetooth i am using is built into the motherboard and did NOT have this issue before endwalker was released
this issue is new as of the launch of endwalker and is getting worse with each patch

i do not use multiple controllers at the same time
while Troubleshooting i will remove other controllers from the control panel of windows and open the game with only 1 controller registered

Good morning Nessyp91! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I apologize for the delay in response to this issue and can suggest to perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' Tab. Then, Disable everything. Additionally, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display'. Lastly, have you tried to launch Final Fantasy XIV on another device?

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
