Tips for Nexus light farm?

Hi all . Dunno where to post this so my apologies in advance. First time doing my dragoon relic from Novus to Nexus stage. Yes i have patience to farm the lights xD Anyone know what dungeons or trials are the fastest way to get more lights (brilliant and blight) unsynced with Novus equipped? Thanks!

I'd pick a trial or raid you can just kill in a few seconds. Maybe Twintania in Turn 5? Does Ultima Weapon count? Other primals tend to go invulnerable and phase change if you don't kill them in 1 hit.

I've been recommended to use Aurum Vale rather than Tam-Tara. The passages are shorter.

Ah the good ol painful light farm. Three of my favorite pick for Nexus and Zeta (the last) phase are Tam-tara, Stone Vigil, and Aurum Vale. What I did:

• Fish for light bonus period by unsyncing these three dungeons.
• If I manage to catch one of them giving 'Blinding' light bonus, I turn up my music, and spam as much as I can until this bonus window is over.
• If neither of these 3 gave light bonus, I just do Aurum Vale 2 more times to ensure my weapon is at least gaining 1 tier of progress to completion.

Why Aurum Vale? Like Iscah & Drip mentioned, it's actually shorter and possibly the fastest. Morbol seeds can be ignored as long as you keep moving forward. They will hatch but the seedlings won't aggro you if you're too far away. Big morbols are primary target because their death will open up the blocked passages. Otherwise nothing else is gating you beside boss encounter from keep moving on.

If I do get bonus window for Stone Vigil, I always make sure to save my burst buttons to ensure I can force the dragon to skip their untargetable phase. It is otherwise another fast dungeon with very little 'gates'.

I'd also recommend Brayflox. To be clear, Aurum Vale is still the fastest. Straight up, there is no arguing that. Just blitz through, kill bosses, kill the big Morbols, chuck Piercing Talon at everything else as you move along, and abuse Spineshatter Dive and Dragonfire Dive to close the distance on Morbols. That said, do check if Brayflox is on double Light because it is really fast. There's a brief detour to grab a key at the start of the dungeon, and two doors to open, but other than? Super fast to mow everything down, and it has good Sprint timings (start, after second boss, after third boss). A run will typically take about 3 minutes so it's slower than Aurum but faster than Tam-Tara, and on par with Stone Vigil assuming you one-shot the final boss there.

So yeah, go Aurum Vale. Back during ShB I was getting my runs around 2:30 on most Jobs, up to 3:00 on some. With the Epic Echo and level 90 gear, 2:30 should be easy for everything. Hell, my BRD can do it in 2:00 whenever I need a 1-49 Dungeon for Wondrous Tails. Have fun Light farming, it's a hell of a lot faster than the Book phase.

Anyone who is lvl 90 SMN, then I would recommend Stone Vigil (N). Round everything up, kill all using Tri-Disaster, then 1 shot boss. Rinse & repeat. About 3 minutes per run & just an absolute breeze to get through. Brilliant light, too.

Don't listen to these guys saying Aurum Vale, you need to do Thornmarch Extreme, it only takes 30 seconds per run and gives you 48 light per kill (you need 2000 light)
Make sure to instantly kill all the Moogle when they spawn.
Aurum vale is an outdated Strategy from before lvl 90.
