Kicked from FC... gil question

I was helping my FC raise gil for a house. I had put around 12.5million into the chest for funding.

Last night, I asked the FC leader if I could have some of it back to buy something. Instead, he kicked me from the FC and blocked me.

I doubt it, but I figured I'd ask... is this reportable, or is it impossible to get my gil back since I put it in the FC chest?

Once you put gil in the FC chest it is the FC's gil and its management is entirely up to the FC master and whatever ranks have Withdrawal privs.

The only case I can think of where the GM team might intervene is if the FC chat logs clearly indicated that people agreed the gil would be for a house, but then someone withdrew the gil and bought, e.g., a gilded mikoshi instead; in that case they might consider it a trade fraud and punish the person who withdrew the gil. Maybe.

However, that isn't what happened here, so, it's the FC's gil to do with as they choose.


For anyone else planning to contribute gil toward FC things: the best practice is to hold on to your gil yourself. Tell them how much you can pledge to a cause, but only give them the gil when a purchase is ready to be made.

I figured as much. Thats what I get for trusting an FC I've been in for months. The bolded part is a good point though. I just thought an FC leader in his 30s would be more mature than what I encountered.

awww I feel so sorry for you. I wish it hadn't happened as you have reported. Please don't change the kind of person you are just raise your own FC and test peoples loyalty.
