considering you can get any battle class from 1-50 in a week means all of the content between 1 and 50 is meaningless because it will reward gear that is useless a day or 2 after you get it. therefore "endgame" content is the only really content they have to keep people playing. this campaign lasts 10 days so in that time you could get at least 1 job from 1-50 evn if u just bought the game and if you didnt pick the right class (WAR BLM BRD or WHM) you wont be able to do anything efficiently in the final 3 days of your free period.

Do you really think everyone who plays this game are hardcore nutjobs that just want to speed off to endgame?

Are you basing your whole opinion of the effectiveness of the Welcome Back Campaign on the current forum popular posts?

Let's not forget that people in the campaign can't even make posts in the forums unless they decide to pay.
