Welcome Back Campaign Fail

I would just like to point out that not every one levels as fast as you say... I know a lot of people including myself who have taken ages to level and I still have no level 50.

There's something called socialising... and hanging out with friends.. (in-game of course~) I've spent hours just talking to new people and having fun playing around with emotes..

What's the point in playing an MMORPG when you have no intention of talking to other people? I mean really.. if all you want is levelling and a big bang at the end, go play Final Fantasy I - XII (excluding XI).


I hate it when people only want games devs to focus on levelling fast + endgame .. and then the same people complain about there not being enough content?

Well hun, perhaps you should take a month or two break. Attacking the welcome back campaign that is clearly not designed for people with as much progress as yourself serves little purpose.

Yeah..somehow people confused the fact this is more of a "see what has changed, especially if you've been gone for numerous years" with "people who stopped playing when we started charging, come back and play and pick up where you left off."

I think the latter is OP's problem. Also yes, the main reason to play now is to experience lore that will set the tone for pretty much the future of FFXIV.

when i saw once in a lifetime i was expecting something to happen in this 10 day period that would wow us into getting excited enough to stay with the game. i havent stopped playing so nothing they have shown me since launch has wowed me. and nothing in this welcome back period is anything new.

Are you now returning to the game thanks to the campaign or have you been playing since they started pay-to-play?

If it's the prior, how are you even posting unless you've paid?

If it's the latter, why are you even complaining?

Err..then yeah I think you're confused, especially since I've seen you around quite a bit prior to this campaign when I hopped onto my brother's character to keep up with some friends there. This campaign wasn't specifically designed for players you perse, especially since it the 'experience etc' was more for the people who haven't kept up with the game doesn't know there's a one time event going on.

This confuses me..... it's a "Welcome Back" campaign not a "Hope You Stay" campaign...... you do understand this is for players that have left and not for you right? Your complaints are so all over the place that I'm confused if you yourself even know wtf you're complaining about anymore?

My main question was bolded in the original statement, what is so once in a lifetime about the stuff happening in the game right now? unless Dalmund decides to plummet to earth in the next 4 days i dont see anyone using the welcome back period experiencing anything we havent already experienced for the last 3 months.
