Someone brought it up in a different topic earlier.

I personally haven't noticed any major activity on Aether but I may have just not been getting shoved into the right instance. I have consistently been seeing isolated bots in the form of obvious level-skipped alts or lazy players; identifiable by their awkward stutter stepping, constant use of the default company chocobo, and unusual ability to go exactly to where the treasure hidden every single time.

This is a good example of blatantly disruptive botting that should be deal with ASAP, because they're not only causing FATE scaling, they're also potentially depriving players of bunnies at busier hours. I did notice that all of the map farming bots as well as their suppliers seem to have up and vanished, but whether that's because they moved onto this type of farming or actually got banned is anyone's guess.

woooow even the names of some in the video are the straight up the same, like the Casyus Clay one.
Honestly I don't understand how these types of reports aren't dealt with as fast as possible, there's just nothing to question about the characters being bots or not, i kinda bet it straight up takes as little as 5 mins of looking at them and 5 mins to throw them into gaol and attempt to have a conversation in vain :/

Most likely it's because they got banned and, due to Aether still being locked, haven't been able to instantly make new accounts like they usually do. As soon as it's open again, we'll be swimming in bots again.
