Two things I think definitely deserve becoming an actual part of the game is the Chat Bubbles and Fancy Loading Screens mods... Neither affect the game in any way or shape, just nice visual additions.

This is accurate and anyone who actively mods in this game/understands how modding works in general should be able to stand behind this.Exactly. It's easy to say "but the modders can do it", but modders aren't held to the same standards and quality checks as the actual game devs. If a mod doesn't work on some hardware, or causes graphical issues with some items, or breaks with a new patch, or has any of the million other issues a mod can have, the modders can waive it with a simple "run this at your own risk." Meanwhile an official game feature with those same issues would never fly. That's why SE can't just easily add in all the things mods can do.
This is a really really cool example of a visual mod that would be nice to see supported officially.

( Forgiven Obscenity Enshroud for Reaper )
Even has custom effects and everything.
Another good Reaper example.

I think they should buy out the hrothgar and viera hat mod... It would benefit everyone!
And here we go again!
I really hope SE will be open to the addition of mods one day, even a sanctioned list they adopt and feel is safe and decent to use
There are very talented people out here in cyberspace regarding mods.
Things we have been told are impossible.....are obviously not.
From beautiful gear, unique customizations, vast improvements to UI options and countless qol changes.
Fresh ideas, fresh sense of style and taste, choice!!, so much variety and preferences could be possible. This is what any game could benefit from.
Please do consider in the future se, ♥
That's never going to happen, modding a game like FFXIV its different than installing mod in a single player/offline game. Plus SE sells outfits for 20 usd on their online store.
"I want my weapon to look like those ones Ultimate, but instead of working for it, Ima just replace the textures since SE now allows it"
99% of things I saw from the very talented people are explicit/adult mods turning FFXIV in to Second Life. Sometimes I couldn't recognize some screenshots because they even change races to the point that Mi'qotes now are wolves and Au Ra like hyurs.
UI/Keybinds etc could be great but those are addons.
I'd love to see them adopt the mods that grants most helmets and hats to Viera and Hrothgar. Multiple mods have made it work, there is no excuse for SE to keep dragging their feet on it.
That is true. But the reason behind is, nobody of the modders knows exactly how a mod must be made to work flawlessly. SQEX could make a contest for new hairstyles, clothes, faces etc. and tell the modders how to do that. There was already a weapon contest and SQEX offered a weapon template. The same thing could me made for other things. And the best ideas could be put directly into the game.Exactly. It's easy to say "but the modders can do it", but modders aren't held to the same standards and quality checks as the actual game devs. If a mod doesn't work on some hardware, or causes graphical issues with some items, or breaks with a new patch, or has any of the million other issues a mod can have, the modders can waive it with a simple "run this at your own risk." The mods exist because the game itself has so poor character creation options.
Cheers
