    Cannot log in to final fantasy

    So since yesterday i have this text in the launcher instead of log in. I dont know what to do about it i tried changing steam name as everyone suggesting doesnt work deleted the game and its still there

    if you have a folder named etc in \steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV Online you may have to delete it or rename it to something else. then you should be able to log in. the game will redownload after. worked for me at least.

    Oh brother, same error here, and I've already had to do this after the hotfixes went live.

    I can't say for anyone else, but for me the error that keeps popping up right now is the Unable to confirm Session information. Please Restart the game launcher and try again.
    Just after the Hotfixes went live I couldn't get around it. Had to reinstall the game, I was then able to get on a for a while, logged out because of working IRL job from home and to let spyware scanner complete, came back to the error, restarted computer after trying to reinstall game again, and now I can log in for the moment.
