The housing demo suspensions i listed in my earlier post are all on the lodestone news section. or the important notices section of these forums. they really are not hard to find.. so no theyre not just made up numbers the information is right there.. people just need to open there eyes and look

lol bro, point out exactly when there were more than 4 times demo was turned off. it's not that it's "not hard to find" or "people are too lazy", you're having people look at information that is either 1) not there or 2) there, but you're essentially just posting a google search and saying "here you go!" btw, here's the suspension of demolition announcements I could find:

and regarding this. look at ALL of the censuses over the life of the game... it's common knowledge that more recently the player base is significantly largerthan it was a few years back

If it makes you guys feel better I think housing demolition should give players at least 6 months, but preferably 12 months before it kicks in. 45 days is one sub cycle and housing in effect holds players to ransom to keep subbed. At the moment we are encouraged to take breaks, then lose our stuff for doing so. Im on my third house after losing 2 when having a break from the game.

Common sense should tell you that in order for the system to be resumed it must have been suspended at some point. one of them even tells you the date and time the system was suspended in the resumption notice.

I also mentioned in my original post that I was unable to find all specific dates for every case.

Data centres are kinda irrelevant because just becuase something doesnt affect "you" on your data centre doesnt mean it doesnt count as a whole. thats quite narrow minded imo. There's still 7 times I was able to find evidence that the demo system had been suspended. but I did also mention that I originally missed that detail in an earlier post.

So i guess the validity of my original statement. "the system has been offline more than it has active" could depend on which data centre you're on. so are you then going to say demo systems works on some servers but not on others.. if you're on one of those then sucks to be you i guess... a system either works or it doesnt. and the demo system clearly doesnt..

U realize there are ppl who have been waiting 3-4 years right lol and they are 2 lazy to take one or two months only devolping housing for ppl wanting it...

Ps telling ppl to just wait any more is stupid consindering they have done nothing but ass half attempts that will only fix for 2 weeks its beyond that... Now what they going to wait for it to get worse cuz it has been since stormblood lol

If you've been waiting 3 or 4 years to own a house, that sounds more like a you problem at that point. I'm not sure how you haven't been able to grab at least one if you've been camping regularly. Half of my old FC managed to grab houses within a week to a month max of regular camping. Hell, the black market exists too and can just buy an FC off someone with gil and they come with a house.

I'm not gonna beat this dead horse into the ground because I feel like I've said it before in enough threads: housing is the way it is because the devs want it to be this way. We're getting Island Sanctuary as a compromise for instanced housing and we're also having Ishgard coming soon with the lottery for those who have no interest in camping. If you're expecting anything further at this point, yeah...please expect to wait a while.

Finally, the situation in Ukraine is costing people their homes, their lives and their loved ones. Have some respect and give them the same courtesy you'd wish from SE if the same was happening to you. Would you want them to not suspend the demo timer for you? Lol.
