    We apologize for this ongoing issue. As some files may have corrupted, we suggest deleting the locally saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this folder so you can have a copy of the in-game settings should you wish to use them again.

    Deleting the folder in 'My Games' worked for me. I want to stress to anyone with a new PC to make sure you run all of these programs in administrator.

    Hopefully this will prevent issues for others.
