The way you put it is not at all a bad argument that could be well debated.
But when you start insulting the playerbase calling them cringe, emo, and edgy, youngings, children, elderly, OPs argument is now big dumb about ageism.

Look at the youtubes for example - youtubers who don't change with the times fade out of existence.
