I don't think I've ever met anyone describing Yoshi-P's style as anything but "cool", tbh.

I don't know where that rant is coming from, but I do think younger generations absolutely do not care about anyone's style or likings, at least less so than older ones. I've met far more judgemental 30-40 years old people than 20.

People going out of their way to call things edgy or cringe are pretty often called out for it, where I come from, and while we may say things are edgy or cringe, we just leave it be. Maybe you're just putting too much focus on toxic people.
