Aether or Primal Server Suggestions?

Hi. I've been playing on EU servers since the start - friend who got me into FF14 years ago is EU, but I don't really have any more reasons to stay on my current DC/server.

Can someone give me suggestions on to which Aether or Primal server I can transfer to? I was thinking of Midgardsormr or Jenova after doing some research.

I don't raid, but might pick it up one day just for having completed a run. I doubt it though. I craft a little here and there - all my crafters/gatherers are maxed, and I use three retainers to gather stuff for me a lot of the time, mostly using my mats I get for scrips.

I join hunts on occasion, when I can at least - the times that EU servers do them are all wonky compared to when I'm available. I'd like to socialize / join an FC, but I'm also on the quiet side.

So with that in mind, does anyone have any suggestions?

I also didn't consider wait times since it's a few months after EW came out and my wait times are really short now anyway if I even have any. But... EU server, so they're five hours ahead.

Assuming you can, that is. We've been Congested for a long time now. Not sure if the update cleared that up yet or not.

I only see queues of like 20 anymore so not much of a wait. Our markets can be a bit wonky but world visit fixes a lot of the issues there.

Wonky in what regard would you say? I'm lazy about server hopping for better prices, unless it's something I consider expensive ( over 300k, since I am poor despite having maxed crafters ).

When I was doing searching before coming here it didn't seem like Faerie or Lamia would be right for me.

I don't world visit but I've had folks from other servers tell me our MB is sometimes on the high side where other servers would have the same items for low. I've always chalked it up to just general issue supply on the given server. I haven't heard my world visiting friends remark as much and I don't really notice an issue myself but I'm not playing the MB all the time.

What appeals to you about Jenova, ie what are you looking for that your research said we have?

Come to Midgardsormr our hunt trains are orderly and friendly. Though I'd choose Gilgemesh if you were going to ever raid.

Jenova is good. Any Aether world is probably fine, but Gilgamesh seems to be overpopulated compared to the rest.

For Jenova, I just found that "it's friendly with a decent raiding community". Friendliness is key that I would like first and foremost, but for raiding I don't want a static if I ever plan on doing anything for it.

I'm heavily a casual/semi-casual player at the end of the day I'd say.
