Let me off Steam

Dear SE,

Please let me off steam. I bought FFXIV in 2015 and have been a long-time fan of the game, but the longer I've been on the steam license the more I have realized what a burden it is compared to the regular windows client. By this point, I'm too invested in my character to start over, and you can not attach a regular license to the same account as a steam license. I would HAPPILY buy the game again if it meant I wasn't forced to use steam to launch the game. Please consider allowing us to switch, or attach both a regular and steam windows license to our accounts.

Yeah this whole patch has been painful for you guys. I love the fact playstation users just have to buy a PC Lincese and essentially they can play with the same character and same settings and Vice Versa but the way I hear Steam users talk today its like your version of FFXIV is North Korea

With the steam linking basically 100% proving the steam account you have's characters are yours there should be no reason at all other than "We don't want to put in the work" to migrating from steam to windows account.
