    New launcher gives script errors, no option to login

    Attempting to login, this is what happens. After launching the game, the launcher begins throwing error after error, all of them say "expected identifier". Whether I click yes or no to them doesn't matter, the launcher never proceeds to any screen you can interact with, it just shows the game name and nothing else. This means I cannot login and play the game.

    Yeah I have the exact same issue. I have no idea how to fix it either.

    Hey, try to delete the Internet Explorer cache. This might help.

    The instructions for making the new launcher work are buried in the old launcher, which isn't available if you happen to be playing the Steam version, unless you go through to the game files themselves.

    You may just need to install Internet Explorer 11.

    Hmm, I know I get Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 support is ending messages frequently at work when trying to open IE11 specific applications. I wonder if SE has realized it or not yet.

    We understand the frustration this matter may cause. Please provide the following information:

    1) Are you running the game launcher via the Windows dedicated launcher or the Steam based launcher?

    2) Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game from scratch to see if that may correct the issue?

    3) Have you attempt the fixes listed in the article previously mentioned https://support.na.square-enix.com/f...la=1&kid=67598?

    4) Which platform/OS version are you running the game on? Mac, Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, etc? Please clarify.
