Final Fantasy 14 - Future Content Suggestion

Now, I'm not saying this to advertise.

Can we get a world, some airships and places to settle in Final Fantasy 14?

1) I've spent 3500$ on Star Citizen. I've bought almost all of that on ships.
2) I am not wealthy, 3500 is the most I've ever spent on any game, but I do contribute to stuff I am extremely grateful for.
3) We only live once and in my lifetime, I'd say I'm hopefully about halfway there, I really would appreciate a Final Fantasy world. (39)
4) Consider this. I have been playing and have loved Final Fantasy since I was 7 years old. I have only known about Star Citizen for about 10 years and have been a member of that games development (alpha) since 2012.
5) I consider the investment in what people really want, to LIVE in Final Fantasy, to be the greatest investment this game could ever make.
6) Airships, Trade, Building, Player Markets, Player Housing, Mega bosses (the Airship world can be like ANY Final Fantasy game where its a large mini game so to speak), Hunting, Bounties, World development and Crystal Crisis. Come with whatever you want.

Star Citizen has already created hundreds of fully explorable ships and entire planets to boot. Have faith in Final Fantasy and its very very massive fan base.

Imo I prefer they keep the space stuff to a minimum, I am not really a fan of when fantasy games that aren't full on sci-fi goes all crazy with space.
It was the same in WoW too I rly didn't like the Draenei space ships and demons and gods basically being aliens.

That should belong in an entirely different game tbh. If 14 evolves into something like SC, Yosuke Matsuda and his grubby NFT paws will be all over 14 in no time.

Fantasy games are about dragons, swords, spells, not space. This was already a risky place to go for a fantasy game and I'm sure they are aware of that. I doubt it will go much further into space. If we do, it's unlikely there will be much focus on the detail of the ships and more focus on the fantasy like in EW.

I'd be fine w/ us using the sci-fi to go into more fantasy settings on different worlds. That's as far as that's allowed to go though!

Considering Sharlayan's enthusiasm towards the prospect of space travel, I'd be honestly surprised if we didn't visit another star or two in the future, though perhaps as side content, not anything MSQ related.

I wouldn't mind getting to actually explore one of the dead stars we saw recreations of in Ultima Thule as an exploration zone akin to Eureka/Bozja eventually.

Would love airship specific content- [Wall of walls of text]. The idea of triple digit digital items to me, or more, just sounds like the biggest scam ever though. Which I'm sure makes some business types salivate. For example I think the statues that come with codes are fine since the statue would probably be around that price anyways. Though I believe if the statue doesn't have a confirmed re-run within "X" amount of time (like every other year or something) they should put the emote into the shop for a large discount (can still be expensive given what they are and what they were from, but like half price at least). Using players specifically with FOMO seems like an abusive relationship, imo- at least when it relates to the digital world where it is entirely feasible to spin up and down codes at will at no production cost (assuming the content is by the license holder themselves, third party stuff might actually have hurdles even if just digital). "He only hits me sometimes!!" lol.... ......

One idea I had for airships that could be monetized, and a thing I believe the mogshop should try to focus on in general, is stuff that is just not from FFXIV. For example Lunar Whale. Well it's a mount now, but that could have been an airship 'skin' as well. Even better if it was like purchasing FF7 Highwind airship statue, and you get the skin for your airship in game. Meanwhile things like Garlean ship which might be epic and wild, and perhaps very hard to get, wouldn't be pawned off to the cash shop just because they think "eyhh we already made the model and it's easy money".

To be honest the thread above has many elements of Island Sanctuary in them, and it might be cool if it was an extension of that content in some ways - build an airport on your island, work on your airship that has physical mass (rather than the FC which are just UI menus). Would be a lot of stuff to make though...... so you'd have to make sure you get your dev time's worth lol. Can't just be the worlds most expensive side content XD.
