Like, I've seen someone try to do this for 2 different reasons.
One ward I stumbled upon was clearly owned by an FC. Each house was a different type of meeting house. So they had like, a bar house, a knights of the round table discussion house, a spa house, etc. First of all, none of these were done well. I'm in Aether by the way, so if any of you in that FC read this then great, because you all need to hear it. All of those houses look like they were designed by someone in a dark room with a sleeping mask over their eyes with their toes doing the item placement. Ok. Not a single one looked good. and I think most of you agree with me, because never once did I see any of them in any of those houses either. So either that FC died a slow painful miserable death or the members took one step in, cringed intergalactically, and never went in any of them again. Maybe out of shame, likely out of disgust. Now back to the point.
The second player owned ward I saw was the opposite. This player peddles their ward on twitter. Now I'm not looking to get cancelled here, but I gotta say what I gotta say. It's in poor taste. It's in poor taste, my man. Let me tell you why. Yes, your houses looked great. You're a housing champ. but I didnt see any proof of any purpose for those either. No one else around...not even FC related..ah. You know?? You know. Come on now. Not only that, but they were all those super cramped type of 1 floor houses that are glitched so hard, all you can do when you load in is turn around a couple times. They're useless. Pretty!!! but useless. I'm guessing its for like...housing decoration selling points. Like a live portfolio. But your live portfolio to show off your work is actively blocking other players from having a house so it's pretty cringe too.
Obviously they cant just yoink houses from people but. I wouldnt complain if they cracked down on this kind of thing. Because it's considerably self absorbed.
