They come off that, everything gets better. How they go about it? Not my issue. I can say if I owned multiple houses for whatever reason, and someone said a syllable to me about how jacked up that is, I'll do my absolute best to get you banned. And rightfully so.
Taking away what someone earned, for any reason, needs to be fought against, not just XIV, anywhere. If the government of any country was saying we're taking something I worked hard for? Well fortunately the country I live in gives me the right to own and purchase, and USE firearms to keep that from happening. I'm not advocating shooting or killing anyone here at all. But I will voice my concern. And my concern is, being at risk of having things I fought for taken away. It may start with little digital houses here, but oh, they decide to change the way gil is handled.. let's take x player's gil away.. once that happens, glams? You're not just inviting a slippery slope, but going at it for no reason. The problem is the supply. The method of clicking for hours on end is also a serious issue ( I never wanted to see that change or griped about it, I knew what I was getting into when I went for houses in the past), but the answer and even why that was implemented has always been the supply. The answer is not take away from someone, it is deal with the real issue, the supply.
Sounds like your problem with this lies well beyond the scope of FF XIV then, and that we can't help or reason with.
