It is for some that use plates more. Having 400 or 800 slots doesn't mean much to me if I don't have a plate to use those items on. And I feel the restriction strongly when we keeping getting great DoH and DoL looks and there's no plates left to use them on. I agree with Zohra that a more even spread would have been a wiser choice.
Couldn't care less about how many plates we have. Doubling the glamour dresser is "nice" I guess? My dresser has been full for years and I have more than 400 more pieces stored on retainers right now...I'll fill that 800 up within minutes of it going live!
It's just a bandaid for a bad system, we NEED the Glamour Log. Them trying to expand this terrible system every few years isn't sustainable. They're adding more gear to the game every .x patch cycle... and likely more jobs in the future, which means EVEN MORE gear pieces... and the cycle of pain keeps getting worse and worse...
yes it really is just a bandaid fix. of course its good, but its just abandaid. really hope they have plans for a better system.... i would go crazy if i had to collect every glam piece for a glam log.... but i guess that eould keep me busy for a while with something i want to complete
I’m glad they are spending resources on this at all, or things like this.
The thing is, this isn't really something that can be spread out "evenly" by any measure. There isn't a fixed ratio like needing 20 dresser slots to build one plate.
They're two independent (though linked) systems that both could be bigger than they currently are, but that doesn't mean that both need to grow by the same proportion.
I don't see it as anything sufficiently strange that the devs should have to explain their choice of numbers.
Oh my god, just rip this whole system out and chuck it out a window.
Please just give us the glamour log!
