The same set that makes you a quadruple amputee with mechanical limbs. And is also only one set out of a sea of other sets.

Healer gear has a massive issue with lack of variety, to an almost ridiculous point. The grand majority of the sets are WHM-themed or have frilly bits tacked on for no reason whatsoever... or are just outright ugly like the stupid maternity robe from E1-4 or the Cryptlurker healer set being a trash outfit based off the ugliest sorcery robe in the souls series.
Honestly just wish they'd remove restrictions so I could use more of the adventurer-esque sets that scouting and ranged get on healer. And I'd take that any day over doubling the glam dresser slots and I'd even take it over a proper glamour log.

Something that has to be noted here is that, yes, WoW Transmog is a good system. It also didn't exist at launch and took 7 years from WoW launch to get just the basic Void Storage and another 5 years to get the Appearances log to start becoming the full log that exists today.

Blizzard had to do exactly the same sort of gradual overhauls and upgrades that SE is doing.

i suspect gw2 that also had the benefit of the dyes being coded in a sane/competent manner. Meanwhile the code for 1.0 was so far from being that that it's still causing us problems hell i even remember hearing somewhere that the devs admitted that was the exact reason why the glamor system is still the way it is

Their dye system is indeed infinitely better, though I don't think that has anything to do with their glamour system being the way it is. On paper I do agree that the GW2 system does look to be the best, as while there are some gear restrictions it isn't as large as say WoW's. That said, I think they get around it by the way they limit how often you can change things. From what I've found on it the GW2 Wardrobe system operates with Transmutation charges, which would almost be like our glamour prisms except the fact that you can only get transmutation charges through map completion and their cash shop.

It possibly could be a finance issue who knows how well the company supports Yoshi and the dev team with FFXIV especially since the game had to be rebooted from 1.0 maybe there was a lack of faith and still is.

Particularly a finance issue in that the requirements to satisfy every user entering a housing instance built to the same designs as currently available, with one 'house' for each player character, in perpetuity, would be very storage and server intensive.

These are all band-aid fixes to a broken system.

Please just fix the entire system. Just develop a glamour log.
    Please look forward to it.

Live letter 68 told us their priorities for this game: small graphical updates and removing as much of the MMO out of the MMOrpg as possible.

The only way we would see any major system upgrades at this point is if we all let 14 die so they were forced to make a brand new MMO. And sense that is not happening we have to deal with what we have. We will continue to slowly get minor QoL changes 3-5 years after they are sorely needed but that is about it.

The game pulls in $1 million + in the first week of a new mount sale alone. Even a child could tell you they are making insane amounts of money from this game.

I wouldn't call what's coming "small" by any means. Maybe a bit late though.
