I assume it's acceptable use for PF to be flooded with ads for DJ's, Nightclubs, Cafes and Adult 'sessions' now?

I've only returned for a month and I have something like 60+ people on the blacklist as PF is filled with these ads, as opposed to PF's for Duties or statics.

So, they're acceptable use of PF? Do I just have to keep blacklisting the advertisers to avoid it?

Role-playing activities are acceptable use of PF if they are in the "Other" category (and not, say, abusing the roulette category to get a higher profile).
My understanding is that advertising for adult-oriented activities (including the use of external links that describe such) is not allowed.

If such listings are all properly in the "Other" category, then actual content like duties should all take priority and appear higher in the listings.

There are different categories. Instead of looking at all of them you can look in the category that interests you most, such as Dungeons or Trials. These events are listed in the Other tab so they are right at the bottom and don't get in the way.

It's what pops up on the first page, there's usually duties at the top and then a ton of nightclubs and a duty down the bottom.

It's really as simple as looking at the categories for the type of group you want. You'll still likely see some violators, of course, but it should be quite manageable.

Another factor is that PF groups tend to be for end-game duties, and if you have not unlocked those yet, they won't appear at the top I don't think.

You might want to reconsider blacklisting people listing regular role-playing content in the PF (that is, the kind allowed in the game), simply because the same people might also list regular duty content at other times and you would be unable to see their entries in that case.
