How is anyone fine with the 4-month patch delivery schedule?

The "10 years plan" for the game is most likely 2 expansions.
-1-2 years of 6.x
-4 years of 7
-the rest of 8

I wouldn't be that pessimistic but it's very likely 7.x will be 3 years and 8.x will be 3 years as well. Which pretty much means the 10 years plan will at best cover a bit of 9.0.
