It's just holding onto assets / content that's difficult to re-obtain. Looking out for your community that may also eventually return. I'd feel pretty shit if I let the FC Large decay just because I personally felt salty about the game. We all hop back on for patch week. I give them the luxury of unsubbing if they want to make sure we hold the FC Large, but they also hold onto personal houses they want to return to eventually, so they usually stay subbed and just login every few weeks.

I'm sorry we don't fit the average Limsa AFK enjoying playstyle. There just isn't much to do in Endwalker, and that's a sad fact. If I was addicted, I'd be logged in actually playing.. Not on the forums memeing about catgirls.
