How is anyone fine with the 4-month patch delivery schedule?

I am not only just fine with this. I am happy for the dev team to officially get more time to work on stuff and have planned in vacation days to avoid crunch.
Obviously crunch will probably still happen because game dev is a pain in the ass and unexpected stuff can always happen which screws with the schedule. But them being proactive is something I want to see more of in the industry.

What are players who aren't going to do Ultimate do for four months in 6.1?

1. Do the alliance raid, which probably takes 1-2 hours to complete on day 1.

2. Do the Tataru and Hildebrand quests which take 2 hours judging by previous instances.

3. Do the new extreme trial which takes like 2-4 hours to clear.

4. Waste 5 mins every day on beast tribes, and waste 3 mins every week on custom delivery.

Congratulations that's all you have for 4 months. $60 in subscription fees. That's even less than what you get from the typical AAA single player title.

With this little content they should be accelerating patch delivery, not slowing it down.

You "forgot" the first PvP series, which will have a lot more people than usual participate in PvP.

I'm not fine with it, I'm super happy with it. I always found the patch schedule way too tight, videogames shouldn't be jobs.

This. If anyone runs out of content, they can just cancel their subscription and take a break. There are other games and a whole world outside the game

I am not too sure why anyone gives Skiros any time in the sun at this point, I get that you're a long-time player of the game and have put in a ton of time according to yourself. But I think you are always making controversial topics to instigate people or the community. I am not saying FF14 is, by all means, a perfect game there are a lot of things about it I would love to see addressed, I have played a multitude of MMOs yet 14 remains my no.1 because it just does things that I myself love. They showed a chart in regards to this thread about the increase of assets, word count, voice lines etc which means more testing....so in increased the load by 2 weeks. It is nothing in the grand scheme of things, there are many mmos that don't supply meaningful content in 4 months. Also Ultimate is for like what 1% of the community, it's not something I wish to delve into myself. I don't really like savage for the most part either.

I think you need to voice your thoughts elsewhere or just stop making these posts, I always see your threads because you have quite a narrow minded view on some things but then I agree on certain aspects of what you've said in some of them.

1 Forum moderators dont enforce the forum guide lines and do nothing to stop forum disruption caused by trolling.

To be honest, these forums are in such a state that troll threads are actually more interesting and valid than most real threads, so that's why. And they're also most o the threads, since barely anyone uses forums nowadays, and as you said less so moderators.

You definitely make a point I have played the game since Beta yet never really looked to the forums I mean heck it took me a while to even make myself known on the forums. I check the discord or Reddit if I want 14 related news outside of what say the lodestone offers. I see this place being the focal point for the majority of the negativity towards the game. Not saying some of it is valid but it does seem like a big dick-measuring contest on who has the most 'issues' or 'Unpopular opinion' posts.
