A New Restoration? Ala Mhigo?

I was wondering whether they'd mention any plans for another Restoration-esque content. Or, gatherer/crafter focused content.

It would be amazing if they can actually turn the Ala Mhigan Quarter into less of a quarter and more of a proper city-state, especially since I recall Ala Mhigo was meant to be a starting city. It just feels like it ended up getting shafted in terms of detail on it's actual... well, city. It's just a receptacle for the command room and menagerie for cutscenes. With the Island and Ishgard, I'm not wondering if it'll have housing -- that'd be a miracle. I just wonder if they'll actually do it justice.

I honestly expect Garlemald or Kholusia restoration before we get Ala Mhigo. Stormblood already has a housing district, ShB and EW don't... and neither did HW before Empyrium.

I'm not expecting a housing district, given how there's Island and Ishgard in the works. I'd like a detailed city-state you can walk around a la Radz-at-Han. Just give it something to push across this place is actually being rebuilt.

Given Tataru is starting her own trading company, and the fact we will have a Tataru's questline. I'd like to bet its going to be the crafter/gatherer endgame for EW

No one cares for Ala Mhigo, not even the devs. It was evident when Xelphatol was condensed on to a dungeon, Same with Ala Mhigo, & you need only look to the fact Doma reconstruction & Shirogane were chosen both over anything in Gyr Abania...

Hell, we had to go help all of Othard before even coming back to Erozea to finish what we put on the back burner. Not even Ala Mhigans cared enough to leave Little Ala Mhigo to help take it back.

Sad as it it is to say it, Ala Mhigo will more than likely stay only a meeting hub for cut scenes.

Yup. Always found it... ineresting, how both Doma and Ala Mhigo were left in ruins, but only Doma gets any assistance in rebuilding while Ala Mhigo just gets brushed off with "ehh, they have Nanamo funding them"

Ala Mhigans watching us help rebuild Doma, then off to rebuild Ishgard, and then potentially Garlemald, while they're still cleaning the rubble off their streets:

Alphinaud and Alisaie say they're going out to go help with Garlemald's restoration in their talk with them at the end of the MSQ... I fully assume we're going to go help them eventually, and if I had to take a wild guess on what kind content it is it'll be Firmament 2: Garlean Boogaloo.

There's just a glaring hole in the quality of Ala Mhigo compared to all other city-states. As much as I want to say the lack of care to it is due to the crazy height of stakes post-Stormblood (set-up for Shadowbringers and the entirety of Endwalker), it really does feel like the devs just don't give a damn about it.

Hell, we don't even have FURNISHING. Or even wallpaper or stuff like that. It really does feel like they pretend it doesn't exist outside of a convenient spot for NPCs to gather.

Also are people forgetting about the time we recovered a massive treasure trove and gave it back to the people of Ala Mihgo and rebuilt the salt industry?

Ala Mihgo is fine. It's just not being reflected in game.
