Hello, I wanted to mention an idea for a little QoL update to crafting.

To summarize:
If entering "crafting mode" (i.e. kneeling while crafting) could be made into a status affect or stance that can be used with the "/statusoff [status]" command, it would allow players to switch between multiple crafting classes much more conveniently. I believe this one change would have a big psychological impact, in regard to helping crafting jobs feel as smooth and convenient to level as DoW jobs.

Long version:
I find using macros to quickly switch between jobs/gearsets to be very convenient for my DoW/M jobs. I think its common among much of the plyerbase, especially ones who enjoy leveling many classes.

I'm currently leveling multiple crafting classes and it would be super convenient to have the same ease of switching classes. However, being in the crafting state (i.e. kneeling, with the crafting log open, after having just completed a craft), prevents players from switching classes. If crafting items/ingredients across multiple DoH jobs, the player is forced to close the log and wait for the standing animation, before they can switch classes and reopen the log again. Changing this one thing would instantly make crafting feel much smoother and more convenient.

Another unfortunate thing about it, is it prevents "Search Item by Crafting Method" from being utilized to its full potential. If I realize I am missing only 1 ingredient in a craft, it is very convenient to be able to search the recipe and craft it immediately from the search result. However, if the recipe is for a different DoH job and I am forced to close the log to switch, upon reopening it I am not taken back to recipe I had searched for nor the recipe I was initially focused on.

Again, I think making "crafting mode" a status effect that can be ended by macros (and thus integrated into job-switching macros) would resolve many minor inconveniences at once, and be very appreciated by most crafting enthusiast players.
