"Nemo me impune lacessit."
People always take the bait. This guy always gets so many bites, why do you all keep giving attention when he’s not even trying anymore?
shocking, 'nother Skiros troll thread.
I declare this thread to now be about Pie!

They struggle with 3 buttons early on and get progressively better as they play the game more. All it takes is watching videos of new players to discover that doing a 3-button combo is difficult while also dodging orange circles and you see things like restarting the combo half-way through and not noticing that off-globals came off cooldown. Some of this is just that they have not played the game for long enough and some of it is sub-optimal HUD and keybind settings.
But do they play the game long enough to actually get "progressively better"? The further through the MSQ you get, the more people will have quit, or do it so casually that every time they return they have completely forgotten how to play.
The nature of all games is that people play them for a few days when there is a new patch or DLC, they complete the content and then move onto the next game that just had some DLC. Knowing this, the content releases are designed with this in mind.
I find even the newest healers can handle my big pulls so I agree that they could handle at least a little more damage complexity. The most braindead role I've ever done savage on was healer because for all but 1 mechanic I was spamming that 1 button and not doing anything I wouldn't do in a normal mode.
The suggestion that the game would be declining without the recent problems with WoW isn't supported by statistics. The permanent subscriber estimate has grown by at least 200,000 every single expansion.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

At this point, I'd say it's less "taking the bait" and more people trembling at the edge of their seats, waiting with bated teeth for the troll to drop the bait. When it drops, they all charge howling at how their going to be the first to guzzle it down this time.
......this sounds suspiciously similar to what Zenos would say and or want.At this point, I'd say it's less "taking the bait" and more people trembling at the edge of their seats, waiting with bated teeth for the troll to drop the bait. When it drops, they all charge howling at how their going to be the first to guzzle it down this time.
Well, i prefer when all the Netflix watching casual player do their dungeons with trust while I can play with humans who actually want to play the game.
Also, with making the Story more like a single player, they allow it to be playable in 20- 30 years.
In comparison, WoWs design decision was Fomo that makes older content unacceptable and useless.
