That's super. But you know what I meant. For us, our return is a good game and a discount.Under no definition of the word are we investors, we are consumers.
Investors, invest a specific amount of money into a project or company with the understanding that they will see a return on that intial investment, in the form of clear monetary returns. They invest primarily in the company though, hoping to reap the profits as a whole, very rarely does an investor put money into a single project, especially when we're talking about large multinational companies like Square-Enix.
As CONSUMERS of a fee based product we want a return on our payments in the form of a desirable product that we will enjoy and continue to consume...
Yeah, no matter how you cut it, investor is not the correct term for what we are
Not true, if they get something they like, they move on to something else. improving the game.
Really, I thought investors invest for some sort of profit, not distinctly monetary, but profit in general. Are you 100% positive it is just monetary? Anyways, we've made a monetary gain by saving money on the final product.Under no definition of the word are we investors, we are consumers.

It isn't that hard to please the crowd, if people are still playing, they are somewhat pleased with the game, that doesn't mean they don't want to improve their experience, because they do, which is why they complain, to aim for more. It is a natural human thing to do.All depends on the Feedback, The only feedback that should really be taken into consideration is Bugs and technical Difficulties, and some Feedback that deals with the game. Overall, he really should be doing his on thing, making the game through his eyes, not the gamers eyes..
Aiming to please the crowd? Kinda hard when alot of people have their own ways of thinking what is good and what is bad, but I feel as a player of any game in general, that I want to play the Companies game, not Player's opinions. Everyone's opinion differs from another, some way or another. The best thing any developer should do, is make the game the way they want it.
That said, I really hope 2.0 is the imagination of Yoshi-P and not the players. If Yoshi-P choose to take Feedback Game related to the game, then that's his decision and his alone, if that makes a game good then I'm all for it.

Anyway, threads like this make me die a little inside.
The forum's tears of entitlement lately are delicious. Please continue.
Under business law, 2.0 and the software is a product, your subscription is a service. Sort of like at a restaurant, the food you order is considered a product, brining it to your table is a service. But for clarity's sake, you're right.
(I'm more up own business as it pertains to hospitality anyway)
Yoshi dont listen to your Subscribers! Especially the guy who said this! Dont listen to him!

You also have to take into consideration the 450k+ people that left the game that weren't pleased with the game, and these forums comprise of like 1k at max out of the 20k people playing the game.. the Feedback if anything should be coming from the people that totally left the game... SE wants the 450k back, listening to 1k people opinions isn't the way to go.Not true, if they get something they like, they move on to something else. improving the game.

That's why they do the players poll, to get an Idea what would people prefer to have, then Yoshi-P acts accordingly, but still keeping his vision in mind all at the same time.
In anyrate, Lets hope 2.0 is what brings the people back no matter how they do it, and we can all play in Harmony =).
Comeon Vageta, you really posted this?Yoshi dont listen to your Subscribers! Especially the guy who said this! Dont listen to him!

are you people seriously tossing around 20k as a number again?
we have anywhere from 12-20k people on at any given time, that doesnt make it the actual population
