Since someone else made a thread about this, going to bump this one as well. I've been seeing this more lately as well on places like Reddit that people have forgotten to drop their job stone on new gear sets. Again, it wouldn't be an issue if they were made mandatory to wear and it wouldn't have to embarrass new players that didn't realize it didn't migrate to their gear set, and it wouldn't have to make them incur a 30min penalty to put it into their gear set if they choose to leave, or have to wait out the 5 minutes to kick them without.

Please make them mandatory!
