And thats bad , because??

Regardless of the few comments about a person announcing they blocked someone . The point stands . This game and its community section of the dev team has a pitiful attitude towards players having proper control over removing annoyance from their playtime experience because of the terrible , almost useless blacklist/block functions.

When we blacklist somebody , regardless of the reason , we should not be queued together. The game should refuse it if we have blocked people and the game decides to match make us for a roulette.

Block tools should bock , and hide messages , threads , in game duty finder matchmaking from meeting each other again once blocked . Other MMOs have done it for years . Its shocking how little they care about actually giving players the control they deserve to stop bad persons from ruining their playtime even after the fact.

We would not mind it if once we reported people that are inexcusably rude/threatening / racist / creepy/stalky and well known for repeated trolling/ bating , they were actually dealt with like thy deal with people with such ferocity for being annoyed by said trolls /bad attitudes that fester in our duty groups sometimes and we get tired and sometimes get angry in our responses to their shiftiness and we get a temp ban for being angry at them.

If SQE actually had the balls to deal with the bads in the community we wouldn't mind so much that the block functions are useless , but I guess they know to spend a lot on SQE cash shop Phantasia's and clothing so SQE let them stay regardless of their awful social conduct in ff14.
