....AND WOW! This is a STOUT tank. (this is after the 6.08 adjustments)
Currently at ilevel 590
Not thinking about job potency and my melding (melded for warrior).
This job is crazy strong in the defensive department. I can't believe how strong Holy Sheltron is! It's hard for me to wrap my head around it since I have been enjoying bloodwhetting for the past 5 months, and also specifically warrior for the last 3 years.
Block for 8 seconds with 15-18% damage mitigation. (Not sure what the exact value is haven't played pld for a grip, and block values seem to have changed)
Knights Resolve adds another 15% mitigation for 4 seconds
Is this compounded with the block mitigation? Is this technially Sentinel level of mitigation?
AND Knights Benediction with a 250 potency heal every 3 seconds. So this is basically a Clemancy over the 12 seconds? I can't tell if I get all the ticks in under the 12 seconds...does the last tick not count making it a 750 potency heal over time?
I have never looked at a skill while being so confused, and it's such a simple skill.
But from an optimization stand point....is this strong enough to squash a tank buster?
Shared tank buster, solo tank buster. Holy Sheltron seems to have it covered! At first I would pop Sentinel and Holy Sheltron while I was familiarizing myself with the job, but I remembered how mitigation works (I was wasting Sentinel). Should I just trust in Holy Sheltron?
I'm still confused on the actual values though....does anyone know the exact amount that this mitigates for the 4s until knights resolve falls off?
If I want to go back to back Holy Sheltron when should I use it again?
At what Oath value should I use Sheltron to prevent capping out? 50? 80? 100?
I want to know what I can get away with!
I started with Paladin...hung it up in Stormblood before Shadowbringers launched for Warrior main...now I wanted to try it out again....now i'm lost on what are the pitfall skills.
