A New Restoration? Ala Mhigo?

If they do a new restoration I'd like it to be Baldesion Restoration as a kind of sharlayan housing. Storyline wise it'd add an extra layer of closure to the isle of val. They could have interesting elemental effects to make the area feel high magic and interesting, and use Sharlayan Architecture to tie the whole thing together.

Just set it on a 'safe' side of the isle so you dont need to do Eureka you know?

Also are people forgetting about the time we recovered a massive treasure trove and gave it back to the people of Ala Mihgo and rebuilt the salt industry?

Ala Mihgo is fine. It's just not being reflected in game.

Yeah, I understand that. Restoration isn't the right word, but I just related it to Ishgard getting a whole shiny new district/housing stuff.

Maybe overhaul then? Cause it's a glaring issue that we have literally no Ala Mhigan furniture or housing items beyond Ananta stuff. And, the absolute state of the Ala Mhigan Quarter.

I don't think we'll ever go about fixing up Garlemald proper within the game's lifespan due to zone issues, but I could see us helping to build up a fringe settlement for the sake of giving the refugees a better place to stay until the city proper is ready to be repopulated some time in the distant future.

Here's hoping, man.
I feel the glimpse we saw in the Ala Mhigo dungeon can be a visually interesting hub or just an instanced area like the menagerie, and it's got untapped potential there. It'd love if every area in Ala Mhigo was as pretty as the Royal Menagerie, but given the lack of community interest and lack of interest from the devs, I believe it'll always be a pipe dream.

Like, how come an area that's been hyped up since ARR end up still like that?

Is there any possibility that the Nekropolis in Ultima Thule is probably going to be restored? After unlocking that one dungeon that the storyline ends there kind of led me to believe maybe it’ll be fixed up.

I would like the next Restoration project to take place in Garlemald, even if we don't end up getting a housing district there. I want more reasons to go back to the zone. I was extremely dissapointed to find out that the combat jobs Beast Tribe was going to be set in Thavnair-which holds the honor of being the only zone more unappealing than the wasteland of Ala Mhigo by virtue of being a mishmash of tacky colors that were clearly only balanced around the Final Days weather.
