I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

I am once again asking if more heals on tanks and healers makes it easier to spend the entire time DPS’ing and the DPS rotation is still boring as hell (15 second DOT on a 2 minute CD what a legit joke) who are healers being designed for
It's a role designed for lazy or below average players, probably.
There's a reason why you put the weakest players in your static on the healer role now when you used to put your stronger players on healer back in SB.
I would also not be surprised if the old stigmas of "girls only play healer/all healers are girls" and "girls don't know how to play games" have a play in this.
Someone probably saw the healer memes and took it literally

Sage has failed to live up to the fantasy of a sci-fi DPS healer. Please change this for 8.0. Make Sage fast, exciting, and aggressive. It should feel like a healer that plays like a DPS. Empower the aspects of Sage's unique healing mechanics: Kardia and Eukrasia to give its healing playstyle more identity.
To be fair, XIV is...special in that regard. In a lot of other games, pulling the whole hallway can be a death sentence. That said, I agree. Wall to wall pulls are more engaging than a lot of boss fights, which is kinda sad in its own rights.

Remember, the actual healing engagement will be in the leveling dungeons because they're honestly more intense due to ilvl and scaling than "Expert" dungeons.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
I don't know how the community finds wall to wall pulls fun, I find them monotonous and boring. Oldschool aurum vale's infinitely more fun than the snorefest that is wall to wall pulling; you actually had to think and communicate in old aurum vale; even in current one sometimes.
Because in a Wall2Wall pull over half my kit isn't useless.I don't know how the community finds wall to wall pulls fun, I find them monotonous and boring.
